Mogwai and 65daysofstatic remix Codes In The Clouds
A little over a year after releasing the self-titled album “Codes In The Clouds”, we proudly present a pair of new remixes of the album track “Sixes and Seventeens”. Bringing together defining artists Mogwai and 65daysofstatic and pressed with utmost care on a limited-edition 12” single.
Codes In The Clouds have worked with a huge variety of artists over the years. In 2010 they released their “Paper Canyon Recycled” record, with remixes from Nils Frahm, Rival Consoles, Maybeshewill, Library Tapes and more. Since then releasing records together with Erased Tapes and Hobbledehoy Records, as well as a series of remix collaborations offering unique interpretations of their tracks.

65daysofstatic somewhat more brualist interpretation carries an anxious tension. In part both deconstructs and builds upon the original, slow-building, stately and beautiful.
The “Sixes and Seventeens (Versions)” 12″ contains two new remixes of the song from 2019’s self-titled full-length by Mogwai and 65daysofstatic, as well as the original album version by Codes In The Clouds. Black vinyl limited to 300 copies worldwide.
