A year after the release of 1998’s Frame and Canvas — a genre-defining album that continues to serve as an influence for countless musicians to this day — Braid disbanded at the height of its popularity. Members then moving on to form Hey Mercedes, The City On Film and The Firebird Band.
Engineered by J. Robbins Closer to Closed crackles with energy throughout. Although no plans are currently in the works to record a full-length, the group is certainly open to the idea.
LP is pressed on 180g transparent Blue coloured virgin vinyl and comes in a matt-finsh jacket and insert. Each copy is hand-numbered.
