Job Opportunity: Paid Internship (3 months)

Hobbledehoy is currently seeking applicants for a part-time (5-7 hour/week) paid internship position for 3 months, based in Adelaide, South Australia.

Hobbledehoy operates with a global mindset, leveraging the opportunities of technology which has made it possible to run an international music operation from South Australia. During their time, the candidate will be exposed to how this can be possible with practical experience and the upsides of small operations.

The hours of work will be performed remotely for the most part, together with regular meetings with the label team including a mixture of in-person, Skype and email communications.

The candidate will, under supervision, perform basic duties related to A+R, Marketing, Business affairs while developing an understanding of basic industry terminology and processes. Specifically working on local and upcoming international artist releases, including those requiring services beyond Australia.

The candidate will additionally organise, with limited supervision, a Hobbledehoy live show to run at the end of their internship duration.

Applicants should be creative thinkers with a positive attitude, open to bringing ideas to the table while also being able to follow direction. Knowledge of social media trends, photography, design, video editing, and quick wit equals major bonus points!
