The following General Terms and Conditions of Sale govern the offer and sale of products on this web site. We supply all goods at the request of our customers if they are ordered in compliance with these Terms & Conditions.

Please respect that this is a labour of love, operating outside of a full-time day job. We are a (very) tiny label. Things like work, life, bike rides and dogs sometimes get in the way. We will try our best to help you out as soon as possible.


We will not exchange or refund goods unless they were damaged or faulty at the time of dispatch. We take great care in ensuring all orders are packed securely to minimize damage during transit, however should you receive a faulty or damaged item, please contact us immediately and we will do our best to rectify the matter. You must notify us within 7 days of receiving the goods. 



Currency conversion rates in our web shop are for information purposes only and are automatically updated every hour.

The actual conversion from AUD to your domestic currency will be at the rate provided by your the financial institution or payment system (usually 2-5% higher than the spot rates).

We are not responsible for taxes and/or duties levied by governments outside Australia, however, our shipping documentation typically ensures that such charges will be minimal or non-existent.


Pre-orders will not ship until the date specified in the product description and are subject to change. Additional products purchased with a pre-order will not ship until the date specified in the description of the pre-ordered item. Multiple items purchased together with a pre-order will not ship until the latest pre-order date. If you wish to avoid delays, place separate orders.


We’re packing and shipping out orders ALL THE TIME! Your direct support is what keeps Hobbledehoy going.

Australian Domestic orders take approx 1-3  days to process, plus shipping time of anywhere between 1-7 days. Orders weighting over 250g are issued a tracking number which is also supplied to you.

International orders  also take 1-3 days to process, plus ship time and will not be tracked beyond departure. All international orders are subject to the customs laws of the destination country. Please understand while the general rule is 1-2 weeks, it may take up to 4 weeks to receive your package depending on your countries local postal service. If your package is returned to us for any reason, we will notify you by email. If you do not respond within 2 weeks, we will return the item(s) into our stock and refund you the amount of the order, less the shipping, and PayPal/credit card transaction fees.

If you have entered incorrect shipping information and fail to notify us before your order ships, you will be contacted when/if Australia Post returns the package to us. If you do not respond within 2 weeks, we will return the item(s) into our inventory and refund the full amount of the order, less the shipping, and credit card transaction fees. If your package is re-shipped, you will be responsible for any additional shipping charges.

Hobbledehoy will not be held responsible for items lost, stolen, or damaged during transit.

If your package has not arrived within a reasonable amount of time, please first check your Order Status, then contact your local postal office before contacting us.  In almost all cases, the package is awaiting pick-up.  Postal services always say they left a notice in the recipient’s mail box.  Whether they did or not is impossible to prove and usually pointless to argue.

Vinyl Records

Our records are pristine when packed. We know this because every single record requires hand-assembly: Adding inserts, slipcovers, etc. Please be aware we DO NOT issue refunds or replacements for minor cosmetic damage, such as corner dings, bends, split inserts, and so on. This is part of buying vinyl. We pack our vinyl very securely and carefully but in some cases this type of wear is simply unavoidable in shipping.
