Hobbledehoy mark the end of 2012 with the release of the Melbourne group’s brilliant Untitled debut album on CD and digital formats for the first time – in stores this Friday, November 7 2012. Tour: 65daysofstatic

Hobbledehoy together with Birds Robe / Life Is Noise are presenting the first Australian visit for UK post-rockers 65daysofstatic.

Their most recent records ‘The Destruction of Small Ideas’ and ‘We Were Exploding Anyway’ have seen the band shift into an electronic-based sound that has seen them compared to peers such as Battles and Aphex Twin. But to describe a 65DOS live show is a difficult task to execute well. Viciously euphoric, frenetic, overwhelming, bordering on chaos and really, really loud. It’s what the band thrive on and how they win armies of new admirers every time they go out on the road. Tickets for the bands Australian dates are on sale now, details below.

– Dec 30th 2012 @ Peats Ridge Festival, Glenworth Valley NSW – Tickets
– Jan 2nd 2013 @ The Hi Fi, Sydney NSW – Tickets
– Jan 3rd 2013 @ The Hi Fi, Brisbane QLD – Tickets
– Jan 4th 2013 @ Corner Hotel, Melbourne VIC – Tickets
