ARROWS in new PARKWAY DRIVE DVD

Parkway Drive - Home Is For The Heartless DVD Many months ago, Australian hardcore juggernauts Parkway Drive asked if Arrows could play a small part in their forthcoming second documentary with music for the opening sequence. It was certainly one of the more surreal emails I ever received, a tremendous honor for both Arrows and Hobbledehoy. Parkway’s first ‘The DVD’ was the highest selling Australian music DVD of 2009, achieving Platinum sales, winning the Rolling Stone Award for ‘Best Music DVD’ and outstanding international acclaim.

Arrows song ‘Whore Will Have Their Trinkets’ (from the album Modern Art & Politics) features for two and half minutes during the opening sequence of the new ‘Home Is For The Heartless’ as the band packs their gear before the tour.

The 75-minute feature film takes viewers on an epic global trek, from the band’s beloved hometown of Byron Bay, Australia to some of the most obscure destinations on the musical map. More than just a film about five musicians connecting with the planet and its inhabitants, ‘Home is for the Heartless’ is about the untold power of music and its ability to communicate beyond any language, geographical or cultural boundaries. Grab it in Australian stores today through Resist and an international release by Epitaph later in 2012.

Thank you so much to the kind folks in Parkway and at Resist Records.
