Hobbledehoy Record Co began in a suburban bedroom with the goal to have a hand in putting out great records by friends & heroes. A labor of love inspired by the very same people and those who I have been lucky enough to meet along the way.

After just finishing my freshman year of university, I decided to sell my first car and put out a record. Everything was set, the first release was confirmed, the car had been sold and was to be picked up by its new owner in two days time. Of course then, the car was involved in a small accident… the record still went ahead to plan, but I ride my bike a lot now.

What is the connection between Hobbledehoy Records and Hobbledehoy Productions?
It’s simply two people operating in different fields but sharing the name. Hobbledehoy Productions is the title in which my longtime friend Caleb McKenny banners film projects he has directed.
