Newcastle native come embraced Melbourne resident Jamie Hay has spent most of his days participating in music. From the politically wrought Conation, the magnetic anthems of Fear Like Us to the recently departed Melbourne rock stalwarts A Death In The Family and everything in between. While recent years have found Hay sharing the stage with a number of companions, it’s still his twangy ruminations on life’s great mysteries that render heart-touchingly close-delivering songs, befitting of his upbringing in an old coal-mining town.
