Hobbledehoy Records featured in The Age

The Age article: CLICK TO ENLARGEI was recently interviewed / photographed for The Age Melbourne newspaper, concerning the label’s  ad-supported free download model launched back in July (click here to find out more!). The feature was published today (22/10/2009), as well as being syndicated into other Australian publications such as the Sydney Morning Herald, Brisbane Times, WA Today and more.

Unfortunately I look 12 years old in the photo, and my “Craig David ‘Born To Do It” ‘esq pose isn’t exactly realistic… which I swear the photographer made me do! The Hobbledehoy feature is positioned next to a completely separate article by a different author entitled “The Foibles Of Freebies”, questioning many “free” offers online.

Darren Levin whom wrote on Hobbledehoy in “How Labels Are Cashing In On Music Piracy” I believe deserves a job well-done. You can read the article text at the link below, or alternatively click on the photo for a closer look.
