I love the idea of getting the download with the pre-order too! Hobbledehoy did it for ARROWS “Modern Art & Politics” this time last year. It went really well.

I do like the idea this guy brings up of getting an instant download with preorder.. It is really easy to cave and download something that you are 100% certain you are going to buy when the release date is 2 months away.

I saw this on punknews when Magic Bullet did it, and thought it was such a great idea that the artists still got paid from ad revenue. It got me into a few bands on there that i didn’t know about too (Romance of Young Tigers… Holy shit! Awesome!)
